Darktower, based on some reviews that space is tight, I'm worried your recommendation will not fit.

for $90 bucks or so you can get an H70 also, works if you have a couple of 120mm exaust ports because it is going to occupy one of those, the good thing is that it gets the rad off the motherboard so everything is not so crowded.

Never done a watercooled system before. How often do you have to add water to the system?

h70 is not really a "water system" its a closed loop and self contained. you just install it and let it run, there is no maintenance.

i actually moved my two pwm fans from my hyper 212+ to the H70, so I never used the stock fans, however, if I get a used phenom for my other rig, ill put the 212 back on that, then I will have to use the H70 fans on my 212+

Yeah it is pretty big. Unless you have a full tower case then it probably will not fit. The H70 has very similar cooling and takes up a much smaller footprint. Certainly not a bad option.

I'll be putting the H70 in a HAF 922 mid tower so I think there will be room. Anyone know different?

the 922 is a good sized case, and has plenty of 120 fan exausts ports, it should work with out issue.
