Programs opening slow, slow start up, general system sluggishness? Probably. Your video card artifacting? No. But as you said in your other thread your replacing the card.

yeah it looks like your HDD, if you didn't opay much for the 965 x4 hold onto it if your your mobo supports it dumb a B.D. in there later on.

personally i always swore by Western Digital HDD's, just about every seagate i ever owned went the way of the dodo on me and was replaced by a W.D. drive.

if your tight on the dough look at new egg they have some decent deals on refurb HDD's i have used them in the past for storage drives and even my first one i bought (5 years or so ago is still ticking today) but i have also had some fail. so its hit or miss.

really i think you pick up T.B. drives fairly cheap which should be alot better than what you have eggy has a good selection. personally with being your main drive i would go new but it depends on what you can fork over.

sheer speed, if your mobo has sata 3 they make some scorching SSD drives that are insanely fast even the sata 2 version are stupid fast

When you hit 50 posts, go check the for sale section, I think someone was selling WD blacks for 40 shipped. Thats a very good HD if not the best for mechanical drives.

Sorry.

Additional Comment:

The 150GB of Storage is almost as fast as some SSD's. You could use that as your main drive with most of your programs installed on it and other games and programs installed on your slower current HDD.

Knowing my luck, everything would go wrong that could go wrong with that plan O:

That HDD isnt the whole problem, as a matter of fact, it isnt that bad, have you installed all of the motherboard drivers? True that the drive could be faster.

Is this a fresh install of windows? It looks to me that there is something accessing the drive. What does the Task manager show for CPU Useage?

I would be willing to bet that there is something else going on with his setup, his drive #s arent great, but they will NOT make a program take 87 minutes to install....
