Need advice on overclocking

Here's my rig as of the moment:

Pentium Dual Core E2200 200x11-->266x11=2.93GHz
Kingston 2x1GB DDR2 667-->887MHz
Asus P5G41C-L MX
CoolerMaster Hyper 212 plus
Antec TP-550

Vcore - cannot Modify
Vmem - 1.86V
SPD - 5-5-5-15-2T
NB Voltage - Auto
VTT - auto
Idle Temp - 35C
Prime95 Temp - 50C

2.93GHz is highest i can get with the above settings. Does VTT and NB Voltage help in overclocking? If so, what is the max safe voltage i could use.

Please help me squeeze some more juice in this rig.

Thanks in Advance

If your vcore is unable to be modified then you're very, very limited in how far you can overclock your E2200.

Extra voltage on the NB can help with raising the FSB, but it won't help with the CPU itself. Same goes for VTT.

Being "outdated" as you put it is even more of a reason to overclock it, to help keep up with computing requirements. While 775 is definitely getting old now, I was using a 775 for my main rig until not too long ago. Albeit with a E8400. They still hold their own depending on what you want to do.

@ OP, mistakes is how we all learn, no problems for the info. Goodluck with future endeavours
