I mean no disrespect to DICE but this scares me. BF3 has been out 7 weeks and we're already talking about the next thing? Here's to hoping that this doesn't turn into a yearly thing. God forbid they end up like activision and releasing a game every year.

hopefully its better than 3. Ive only have a few hours playing but the game seems unwieldly, origins sucks, (ie if you want to get on a full server there is no que)

I would have been happier for just some new maps for BC2.

What do you mean by unwieldly? It's still leaps and bounds above BC2 IMO. I'm just not a BC2 fan. Origin/battlelog do suck.

Ya must be nice to be able to play it without going 1 step forward and 2 steps back non stop. Orgin is horrible and if Star wars old republic runs off it im not buying it for that reason and that reason only

I'm not sure what all the hate over battlelog is for. I haven't had a single issue with it and am loving it. Probably will be a Steam adoption phase for most people.

I don't like the idea of battlelog and have had plenty of problems at the beginning. Most have been addressed but i'd just prefer an ingame browser. And origin sucks there is no way around that.

One would assume that EA are making this announcement to keep investors interested in the company and the franchise. Having shipped 5 million copies in the first week, its obvious that some people would want confirmation that its not the end of the franchise. A number of games get to the third itteration and are ended. I would suspect we wont see anything of the development for at least two years, there is plenty of scope for improving BF3 in the interim.

BF3 is more "realistic" but I dont know, I feel like the game play of BC2 is better (because after all its a game not real life)

If I need a real life battlefield, Ill request an IA to afganastan.

If the damage model was like BC2 i couldn't play it. It was just too awful. If you were outnumbered in any situation it would leave you helpless, you might get one guy but the other will surely take you down, while your reloading.

I felt outnumbered with no one around... 30 hours in (really? how?) and i still don't get bc2... it's weird feeling and i can't FIND A GOD **** PERSON TO KILL! I have not got one kill yet. All i get is some giant azz map and a random bullet hit me god knows where.

As bad as i'd hate to say it, at least in cod games you actually see people.. you can hit them... You don't randomly die from who knows what reason, you get in and actually shoot others.

That's why i got bc2 for $3.75 or whatever, to get on multiplayer and shoot others....

BC2's movement and squad system is broken. The squad system breaks teamwork with the way it's set up.
