Downloading Mass Effect....

So im currently downloading mass effect 1(steam) .... im hoping ill enjoy this and the 2nd one. I was just gunna start with 2 but seeing as how ive never played this series i have read that its much better to start with the first one as it imports your character etc... I love RPGs, especially ones that tell a really good story. Like i love The witcher 1 and 2 Deus ex human rev.. both batmans even though i dont know if i would call that a RPG... so anyways hope playing a old @ss game will be fun!!!!

***EDIT****
I just realized i totally posted this in the MMO section and not RPG

Its a fun game. If you like a cinematic experience coupled with a couple actions, you'll love this game.

On your first play through go for the soldier class. The games a little unwieldy with every other class, and will leave you frustrated and confused when playing with them when your not used to the mechanics, skills and gameplay. The beauty is that once you complete the weapon challenges for the soldier you will be able to use those on any other character class. That means you can unlock the assault rifle for tech classes than normally only use pistols or shotguns, giving you more firepower for a better play through experience.

Another tip is choose your party around your class, and mix them up. Taking 3x soldiers will mean that some enemies might die easier but your going to find those tough nut baddies even harder to crack from no diversity. If your a soldier, take a techy and a biotic with you. That way you have every angle covered and your team will do well in all situtations.

I generally had Garrus and Liara with me. Garrus is a good tech w/ soldier like abilities, and Liara has good biotic abilities.

Tali is good for tech/biotic, though her tech ability far outweighs her biotic ability.
