Priced right that's for sure. Alas, my 2500k should keep my games running just fine for years. Probably not upgrading CPU any time soon. I want a Keplar G110 though...

Same- my CPU is great (2600k) but my GPU is getting long in the tooth.

Just waiting for more 680's to hit the market so AMD will stop price gouging....not that Nvidia ISN'T either at that price....

Intel usually just phase the chip out than cut its price - you might get lucky with MB's though.

From what I've read it's a 5-10% gain on Sandy.

Still running on my Q9550 so unless AMD pulls a trick out, I'll be upgrading in the summer.

I haven't had a "new" PC in years, I keep buying used and year old tech because I'm cheap. I think this might be the first I dive into head first since the days of Athlons and northbridges.

That and frankly with my semiconductor manufacturing background, a yielding 22nm part, tri-gate no less, is **** impressive.

It definitely is impressive, but I could get by with a dual-core right now. Multi-core chips really have not had enough impact on average computing.

yep been waiting for it to come out, mainly because this will be the last time i have some expendable income for a while, going for the 3570K + mobo and either 7950 or a 670 price and performance depending

Since my sb build is less than a year old, I'll be holding off. Maybe in 2013, I'll do anew build. My current setup, meets my needs. I'll upgrade the gpu, soon.

Well, since I am still running a Q6600 I am really past due for a machine. I am moving to something soon, be it Sandy or Ivy bridge I am moving. Whatever I can get the best price/performance deal on. I should only need a mobo, cpu, and ram.

Then, I will donate my old stuff to my sis.

If I didn't just upgrade last month, I would be. Might pick one up next year or so since my board is compatible. If not, I'll just wait for whatever comes after this.
