New FAH logging messed everything up

I've worked hard to make my universal FAH stats monitor for multiple clients work (you can see it here). It uses a combination of two servers, a reporting program I wrote and HFM to generate a stats board showing most of the computers I have running FAH. However, the new FAH logging system (v7) appears to have rendered it completely useless, as it, as far as I can tell, does not generate a log file in the same way that v6 does. HFM is asking me about connections and addresses to the client. I suppose I could just allow the connection, but it sort of removes the point of not having to host an actual server on every client (the point is to have one centralized server which has information on all clients, uploaded to the server through FTP). This cannot be done anymore because of the lack of log files.

Am I just plain stupid and not seeing the log files, or am I right here? If so, has anyone invented a fix or will I have to do it myself?

it would work for monitoring localhost clients, but not remote clients, which is what I am attempting to achieve. Unless of course, I could let HFM monitor the client locally, generate a web page, upload it to the central server and have the server merge the html from all the clients into a single web page. I could do it, but its rather a lot of effort.

Again, it would require hosting a server on each one of my clients, which is not what I want to do. I cannot forward the ports to all the clients, because of how the networks are set up.

Have you tried HFM v0.9.0? It's supposed to work with v7. Or maybe I'm just totally misunderstanding your question.

It does work, even remotely. But not without port forwarding. It requires that you connect to the service Stanford provides with FAHControl. I cannot port forward to all the computers I have running FAH, due to the way the network is set up.
