couldn't you fold the regular big smp units with it? It's won't get as many points but it would crank out a normal smp unit really fast, I'd think. It's only dual core but my rig can do ok on a <200KBps connection supposed to be 750KB but the salt air corrodes the lines fast, so it messes with internet here.

the max upload speed ive seen here has been about 40-60kbs peaks normally about 15-30kb/s and ive tried running regular smp's. if i remember correctly my tpf was about double what my 2700k was doing. i may be wrong though. ill fire it up tonight and run some smp's and see what it does

BTW, based on the log you posted I don't think it's a speed issue.

according to some other posts on folding forum people with similar speeds are having the same issues. and its the one right under MB but i dont fret the minor details. i think this weekend if i havent heard anything definite im gonna start it up and try a few things to see if i can get it to send if so ill be keeping it but right now im pretty discouraged about not being able to send wu's.

It's not a minor detail, 8 kb/s (kilobits/second)= 1 kB/s (kilobytes/s). 64 kb/s is only 8 kB/s, but 64 kB/s is 512 kb/s.

I'm assuming you mean your upload speed, so that's a theoretical ~40 kB/s upload, which is only a bit lower than mine.

Have you tried folding regular SMP on the 2P to see if those upload? I assume you can upload regular SMP on your other machines?

thats both upload and download. right now im downloading season 7 of how i met your mother. complete season 3.24 gb download speed is bouncing between 18-24 kB/s. this is what im working with. upload is no better i think ive seen a peak of roughly 50 kB/s before but usually 25-35 range

i just started it up and have it running big smp no bigadv. ill see what it does. also my unit 1 passed its deadline so those points are lost

HA another random sidenote i just looked and we are at EXACTLY 1,975,000 wu's completed. good stuff
