I'm fed up with trusting other survivors! From now on if I see another survivor and he so much as looks my way I'm gonna kill him. I don't want to play that way but I'm tired of getting killed every time I see another survivor. lol


Oh and stupid question but are bandits just AI in the game or are they real people? How do you tell a bandit from a survivor?

Bandits are real people. I think you become a bandit when you kill 5 or more non-bandits. Your "humanity" meter slowly regenerates, though.

I think a green mask icon identifies them, but then again I have not played it yet.

Your experience is also why we should start an EOCF group!

I agree Urbanfox. Even if not enough people are playing I'll still team up. Any bit of help is a bonus. I've actually had bandits hunting me down. I've been able to get away most times but every once in awhile they get me. Right now I actually have my inventory full of **** that i don't want to lose so I'm staying clear of everyone i see.

For some reason when I start now I end up in the same place - an open field with lots of dead people that have spawned in the same spot - not sure if its a bug or what.

Vent or TS or mumble. Makes no difference to me but we should use voip for sure. It will be much easier to work together.

In controls you can bind a button to Direct Communication. It's directional but kinda crappy quality, and others can hear it up to I think 50 meters.

You guys can hit up our ts if you want when you play. I'll join in with the shenanigans too.

I was playing on the US1 server last night but I gave up due to the night time. I jumped on a East Coast server and it was daytime. Stayed there and found some chem-sticks. So now I can play at night!

I really need to find some better guns. The starting pistol sucks.

I just died lol. Played for about 15 min, found someone else, they didn't chat but they didn't kill me either, lol. Zombies attacked, and my blood icon was flashing red and had a cross sign. Took morhphine but it didn't do anything.

I need to read up on controls lol.

WOW... this game should be renamed, "don't fire a shot". Found a rifle with a scope, shot a zombie from a distance, next thing I know 10 of them have super sonic hearing and I die -.-

I'm going to eat dinner in a few, but I have been trying to play on AZ1.

here is the current map that I am using. I edited in the deer huts from another map.

trick to not getting swarmed by zombies is to prone in cities/towns. I know its really slow, but you have less of a chance of dying.

protips:
Loud weapons (which should not be used near a Cities/Towns)
CZ sniper
.45 handgun
M4/M16 and AK and its variants (M4 has a silenced variant, idk if the ak has one)
Lee rifle
m9 (has silenced variant)

Not so loud weapons.
1911
Winchester
M1014 (auto shotty)

-that all the guns that I can remember off the top of my head.

The deer huts spawn military loot (which is rare loot, like m4's and ak variants and its ammo.)

so you can just run around the map for hours looking for huts and you can get some good weapons w/o going into the towns.

I frequent the server "Seattle" not "[Seattle]" since there are 2 of them now.

My game name is Boston Brand, so just type in game and if I don't respond right away its probably cause I am focused on something else so just keep typing till I say something.

I just played for about an hour or so. Found some guy, but he didn't speak English lol. He didn't try to kill me either, though. We found some rifles and gear, went into a town, and he got jumped by a zombie. I started firing my winchester and next thing I know I have a swarm on me. I ran for forever, got into a building, and the SECOND i kill the 10~ zombies with me I die from bleeding out. Good times!

Played on Seattle for a couple hours. Got enfield and m1911. Enfield doesn't attract as much attention as everyone in chat keeps saying it does. I still have no idea where I am. I believe somewhere north of Ctapoe?

So bummed. Found tons of gear, map, AK, etc, and finally made it to the airfield only to die after finding out A) zombies can climb ladders and B) that ladder opening hole for towers has a really, really small hit box.

Oh, and yeah, I see why they say the enfield attracts so much attention....

Even though there are 1.6.0.1 servers, keep getting messages they are running wrong server side patch. Going to try 1.6....

Let me know what you guys decide on (if you're looking to add to your group). I know DC and I have been trying to meet up but timing has been bad.

I'm just really getting sick of bandits around the coast and I'm not going to venture all the way to the air force base again without a group. Can't trust anyone on the servers, need some EOCF people.

Sorry I flaked. I will be on at some point tonight. We our out visiting family but I'll be on around ten. My IGN is: Amish and I will post the server I play on when I get home. I prefer servers that reverse the day and night cycle. Or if you guys are on tonight post what server you are on.
