9800gt and 8800gt (both G92's)

I was wondering if there is a way to overclock each gpu individually. I tried afterburner and only the 9800gt shows up and there is no slider for shader clocks as well. Better way to accomplish this?

Afterburner>Settings>Master Graphics Processor Selection> Be happy!

And is the "link" button clickable? to the right of the sliders...

Thanks! Just missed it before.

EDIT: They are each getting a little over 5k PPD, that seems pretty normal right? When creating a new slot for an SMP client do you still need to use flags to get good work units? I'm using v7 client control panel.

Additional Comment:

Bumpity. I have been folding for a couple of days now and it seems to be going okay for the most part. The only issue seems to be running SMP on my i7 970. I have all 12 threads active and performance seems to be worse than if I assign it 8 threads. With 12 threads it takes longer to complete the same 8013 units and for less points. The only flag I have is:

client-type
bigadv

If anyone can help me get this smp client set up correctly I would appreciate it. Thank you in advance.

Your problem stems from the inability of the cpu cores to play nice.

The gpu's are stealing a thread from the smp, which is causing a total slow down.
Alot of folks will drop the smp to less cores to free up the fight

Running smp 10 i think is your only option, as 11 defaults to 10...

Thanks for the reply. So I can run 8 or 10 threads and keep benching my gpu simultaneously or scrap the gpu all together and try 12 threads to see what production is like. The 6970 seems to be getting through the work units okay and is definitely making some points though.

Is bigadv the only flag I need or should I use advanced as well?

EDIT: NVM, I see it will only let me run one client-type.

10 cores and the gpu client running seems to be working well so far. Thanks for explaining that. All I keep getting is the 8013 WU on the SMP client. Is that normal?

Well crap, my garage folding rig is now out of commission. The wireless network adapter finally crapped out totally. I had been having problems with windows not even seeing the card intermittently and now it's totally a goner. That's the rig with the 2 G92's worth over 10k/day.

How far is that rig from your modem? I've actually had good results with some of the USB Wi-Fi adapters, as long as it's withing 50-60 feet.

I don't know much about wifi adapters. But one of our tenants uses this and picks up a wifi signal from a hotel that is two blocks away. Again, I know little about this stuff. But I couldn't see the same signal with a laptop that is 90ft closer than his desktop. Some of the reviews on newegg say their is a problem with connecting to G networks but it works great with N networks. (again, noob to wifi)

That's about exactly what I was looking at, except for this one. I think something like that with a higher power antenna that I can mount higher and away from the computer will work just fine. So that cheaper one will probably do the trick then yeah? I don't know anything about either brand.
