So, what did you finally decide on as far as components? You might consider setting up a sig. with the components in it. If you got an ASUS mobo, be sure to use the CHA fan headers as they are controlled by the "Chassis Q-Fan Control". |

It'll show up in my SIG but here's a rundown:
Mobo: MSI Z77A-GD65 Proc: i5-3570K Ivy Bridge Cooler: COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 EVO Ram: CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB DDR3 1600 Video: EVGA GTX 470 Case: CM HAF 932 Advanced Storage: 120GB Sandisk Ultra SSD/WD 640 Gig HD Optical: LG Blu-Ray Burner Took my time and got the cables nice, neat and 99% out of view. I should have shot a pic or two of it; maybe I'll open it up and do so tomorrow. Additional Comment: On a quick note, the MSI motherboard was a breeze to set up. Only drawback is if you have RAM with tall heat spreaders, and a rather large cooler, the only way to mount 4 sticks would involve switching the fan on the cooler to the other side and making it a 'puller' instead of a 'pusher'. As an update a few months later, system is running like a dream. 4.2 Ghz, rock steady. I could get more out of it, but as it is it runs cool and quiet, handles just about anything I throw at it. Extremely happy with the build.
