I see your vidcard heat problem, no place to exhaust the air. Might try removing the top panel expansion slot covers so the hot air can escape through them and getting a 180mm fan with a higher CFM rating. |

Thanks. Probably going to take the board back tomorrow. In the mean time, I did some overclocking to see what I was getting here and know what to compare to.
Here are some of my quick results: 4.6 GHz at 1.32V. Pretty easy clock. Things got really hairy after 4.6 GHz. Trying for 4.7, I went all the way up to 1.355V (over the stable limit for ivy, which is 1.35) and it still wasn't quite stable, so I decided to call it quits. As you can see from the above temps at 4.6, even under load they did not exceed 80. Not bad, and I wouldn't mind having a 4.6 GHz stable overclock, but it would be sweet to reach 5 GHz at some point, just to join the club.\ Note: the max temps in the pic exceeded 80 because I went up to try for 4.7, but programs started crashing, so I went back to 4.6 @ 1.32V. |

Picked up the Asus V Pro and a 670. Things are looking a lot better, temp wise too.
