Im trying to find some software that can send out messages (text and image based) to clients desktops. Its for updates on products or upcoming discounts. I found a site called www.edesktop.co.uk. Which looks to be what I want. Just wondering if there are any others Cheers

Why would you want to knowingly install adware crap onto clients desktops.
Just ask for email addresses and then send them in a mailshot. Atleast it then gives people the choice to just put you straight into their spam box or decline altogether. |

The clients computers are dedicated systems that we sell for medical purposes. We already do Mailouts but allot of them don't receive them or don't read them. Then we receive calls later on as to why they didn't know about a discount that was going on. If we could have something on the desktop of the computer, they cant miss it.

Like smartphones use 'Push Notifications'
![]() I don't know of any such thing for desktops (that you can buy or download for free)... you'd probably have to get a bespoke system written for this. Additional Comment: What about having an RSS feed, you could have the RSS reader on the desktop subscribed to your updates / discounts feed
