Forward Unto Dawn - Halo 4 live action trailer

Hot off the screens at Comicon comes the full trailer for the forthcoming live action series "Forward Unto Dawn". Set in the Halo universe, it see's a group of raw recruits in training and dealing with the military lifestyle. However events take a disasterous turn as the Covenant begins its war against Humanity, with the training academy hit in the initial assault. Enter the Master Chief - Spartan 117 (John) as he and the recruits begin taking the fight to the enemy. Its up to the recruits to learn fast or die fast.

The series can be seen on Xbox Live's "Halo Waypoint" service, and on Machinima Prime . Its expected to debut on or around the 5th of October.

One thing I'd like to know, what are they doing that is different from the rest of the series. Since it's being done by a whole new crew I'm sure things have changed from how the Bungie guys did it, I just hope they changed it for the better as they have a ton of pressure riding on their shoulders.

I dunno Im not that "into" halo myself. I just thought that the video was good and I wouldnt mind watching that as a show.

That is pretty epic I got to say. Halo 2 and 3 were just donkey ****, but the first one really got to me. It was the first decent FPS game I played in my life, and it actually had somewhat of a story.

Also, if I recall, I kept killing the guys that jumped up onto my jeep, usually by grenading them. Doesn't bode well for the guy in the clip :P

Trailer looked cool but frankly that's a movie trailer, has little to no relevance to the game other than maybe story/plot.
