Alteon images

Recently I bought a couple of Alteon 180e and AD3 loadbalancers from ebay.

We figured out there is webos 10.xxx for 180e and there should be webos 9.xxx for AD3.

But while looking for these images the problems began, the company who created those loadbalancers doesn't exist anymore and google wasn't of much help to find download links for those images.
Google did bring me to this forum with the following threads:

Where people are asking for the images (an administrator!).

These load balancers are and of life so I hope that someone will be able to provide me with the webos images!

They don't have to be the latest versions, any version is welcome at the moment!

Why would this be spam?


I am honestly asking if someone has alteon webos images... In the threads I copied in there are no download links posted + the threads are old... I thought it would be more effective to open a new thread.

Mark stated the support for those models ended in 2009 and you needed a service contract.

He says he found the firmware files he needs, so hoped he could help me find them (as they are not posted there)...

But never mind, will find them myself. How can I close this thread (and how can I remove my account)?

No need for that, just let it fall under the pile of threads that are already on the forum. User accounts are usually also not deleted here. But if you really want to know, a private message can be sent to Jason, asking where he got his, maybe he can tell you (can you send private messages as a forum newbie?)

Oh and lol @ Carozzeria thinking it's spam - on a first glance yes that is what it looks like but it clearly isn't - don't worry about that - we get a lot of genuine spam here which is reported within minutes so we always are a bit suspicious at first.

Really no need to delete your account if it matters just don't use it.Not really good form to just jump in and ask one question and not be a part of the community.Just for the record I didn't think you were spam.
