I've noticed the Windows drivers for most video cards work fine in 2D but will have problems running a lot of 3D games. I would try a different version of the Detonator drivers and see if that fixes your lags/freezes.

After trying 4 or 5 different versions of the drivers, im beginning to think that its more than just finding the right driver. Could it be things that are running on my computer? i got a p4 2.4 Ghz, Intel motherboard, maxtor 120gig HD, and KINGMAX 512MB DDR333 PC-2700 RAM and using Windows XP Professional. I think all of that should be fine with my geforce 3 video card. Or could it just be a bad video card?
