Let us know how much higher you can hit and report with some temps. I will be receiving my Slot a board soon so I get get my 950 tbird back into folding action. I am always open to some better cooling for these naturally warm CPU's

Now i can hit 935 with no problem and with stock voltage. Before it was unstable at 920. Also temps have dropped like crazy before when i touched the processor it was hot now after a hour of hard processor use the cpu is still cool. Next week i will get a exhaust and a big thermaltake fan for the case then i will increase the voltage of the cpu and go a bit higher. (isnt higher voltage supposed to make it more stable?)

Ya, more voltage will help you go higher. (Prototype, t-birds are socket a, not slot a)

The majority of tbirds are socket a's, but there were some slot a tbirds. I have to remind everybody every time I post about my CPU.

Here's a link to one of the CPU's:

Hahahaha, the machine I'm using right now has an original Athlon 800MHz in it. You gotta love the chip that started the rise of AMD. I've got a big Patton high velocity fan pointed into the case with the sides off. Even running on low, I'm sure this baby pushes more than 1000 CFM...hahaha

http://www.premier-pcs.co.uk/item1996.html
I will order from http://www.xcase.co.uk
The other company site looks like some low budget site therefore i get the idea they may be dodgy, anyways can some one suggest a good temp checker? My cpy tempo checker burnt ouyt some time ago it was over heating (the proc) and no one bothered to replace the fans now it will not read any temps so a temp checker would be nice
Thanks.
