9700Pro Strange crashes....
mobo is p4p800. agp is in 8x. Sometimes, after a while (depends, can be 10 minutes or 4 days), the screen resolution changes itself to 640*480 4bits with an error message. I tried to completly deinstall the control panel and the drivers, reinstalled, didn't change anything. it does that with cata 3.2, omega 3.4 and cata 3.4. if anyone has an idea before I format everything.... btw, should I use WinXP pro SP1 or without sp1 ? |

i use a 9700 pro, winxp sp1a, and cat3.4 they dont change resolutions by itself. Seems like something wrong happened during your xp installation.
