Do these ramsinks look ok to use?

I just got these to use on my 9700 pro,will they work okay?

I got the copper ones.

I don't think so, you have bga ram chips don't you? Little square chips? You would probably have to cut one in half to make it fit right.

thats another ?they come ready to stick on,with double sided adhesion,the guy at the shop said it would be fine.I'll try it.

what would i use to cut them if i wanted to?

I assume that because its copper, you can break it with your teeth

They are really small so you need to have a sturdy clamp on both ends and use a band saw or something..
other members might have better opinions..

those aren't tiny, those are made to cool TSOP ram, the 9700 Pro has BGA

how can you tell? BGA ram doesn't need anything big either...a fan blowing on the card is enough..

Ya guy's Laugh if you will,but i put them on.While i was at it I took off the shim,i've been told that it will cool down the core more.I applied AS3 and now its making very good contack with the core,so i hope my het problems are over for now.=) Cheers.
