why do u guys even put the asteriks in? or... am i just a noob to this html stuff lol =)

If you put the html code exactly as it should be, it will display the image rather than the text. So you have to break the code in order to show the text. We use asteriks as a special character because they're easy to pick out of the code and replace.

BTW...in the sig where it says "Ladder" and has a negative number next to it - is that how many points we are behind the person ranked directly above us?

If the image is already wirking for you, new skins will be put in to affect immediatley. After team number =11314 at the very end, add "&xskin=****" where the stars are the skin.
