Don't do it, agp voltage, and a volt mod are two different things and adding more agp volatge in bios just kills card.

Search for guides, you'll need a soldering iron, resistors, and multimeter, those are the basic things.

Hi

Have been reading this thread with interest since I am a little disappointed with my Sapphire Fireblade 9600XT 128Mb. The memory is OK as i can get 364 24/7 with no artifacts but the core will only run to 540 before locking. I am using Redline and Cat4.1. Is there anything I can do to improve this or am I stuck with it?

At the mo it gets about 13800 in 3DM01 and 4200 in 3DM03 when clocked as above. These sound quite good but in fact my old 8500 used to be able to get 11000 in 3DM01 when O/ced so I am not all that impressed. Admittedly the 3DM03 is a lot better!

wake this thread up!

just bought another 9600xt but made by HIS. my BBA 9600xt can only reach 571core/660mem. i did research on HIS 9600xt and found out that the mem is o/c to 650mhz, but the box says excalibur 9600xt turbo and this comes w/ halflife2 coupon. the card that i bought doesn't shows turbo nor has free HL2. anyways i tried it and the max i could get using stock cooling/ramsinks w/ ASC is 601core/702mem.

And he always said it COULD push to a certain clock, he just knew it.

I COULD push my memory to 750, but it wouldn't be stable =\.
