Jason and co, what do you think of this? (F@H Benchmarking)

A new kind of benchmark!

If you haven't already heard, we've created a new site for Folding@Home Benchmarks! Using this simple tool you can get a guideline on how fast your processor is doing it's job!

Although fun and interesting to do, the TeamFM crisined "FORB" (Folding@home Online Results Browser) can be used to compare how your processor can crunch data from distributed projects such as Folding at home or (more importantly ) how games may run on your system!

Go-on, Have a look at the FORB now! Its in the beta stages so if you do anything wrong, dont worry, its not the end of the world.

http://orb.teamfm.net/

How does your system match up?

NB
To post your Folding@Home benchmark you will require an up-to-date copy of Folding@Home, make sure you add the verbosity 9 tag to the F@H shortcut.

Also, make sure you clear your log if you want to upgrade your score, the scripts only pick up the first score in your log!

*Edited* Please do not post other links in the sticky !!!

We have a team of our own and do not allow posting of other Teams links on the forum...

I think it it an interesting benchmark and could catch on if we can get some of the people to start using it in their sigs

hehe... The only thing is at the moment you have to clear your log when you add a new benchmark, otherwise it'll pick up your fire score

?

You need to add verbosity 9 to the console flags to get the required output into the log...

There's a link on the orb page which allows you to upload 'your' result... Its pretty simple, not a lot to it ...

(Link it wack bang in the middle of the page)
