3D AMD Wallpaper (56K Beware)

I was having a session with 3DS Max when i decided to make a simple wallpaper. Let me know what you think, im open to comments and suggestions...

thnx, im working on getting the quality a little better (i had to go round the edges of the shadows with the blur tool in photoshop) and I'll put one together with a black/grey background, for those of you that prefer a darker desktop

i could try making the amd text the same kind of crystal style as the logo, ill do one like that and a crystal black one, ill post them later.

And for grim: I made the scene in 3D Studio Max, the AMD logo was esy to make and then i just gave it a Transparent raytraced Phong Material, coloured green. I used the advanced lighting renderer with 5 light bounces to give that very subtle glow round the bottom of the text. It took forever to render but I think it looks pretty good.

I got inspired by you and so my rig is currently rendering an Intel wallpaper for the other fraction

I've made it 1600x1200 but i'm gonna resample it in photoshop so people have some resolutions to choose from.
