I guess my PAlit 8800 GT matches my P5Q pretty well...
still a work in progress, need to finish some case mods..
I have been upgrading my pc as of late, and just messing around with some ****.
Wanted to buy an ATX Full Size case but they were like $250 for a decent case... So instead I bought some 1" aluminum rod and drilled, tapped and there it is...
Some pics for those who want to see...

This is what I have been messing around with lately, building a few acrylic tubular reservoirs... Soon to be for sale, custom sizing available.

Here's my new setup, lemme know what you think :)

sorry about the bad pic quality

I was going for a very clean setup, i dont like too much clutter in the case. I Wasn't sure about the Northbridge block, I had burned out a northbridge on a previous motherboard so i just decided to play it safe at the expense of a few degress. I'm running a Chieftec GX-01SL case so space is no real concern ....

Hi guys, new here. Here's a few pics of my kit. Couldn't find the case I liked so I modified a Gigabyte Aurora to suit:

Making a radbox to house a 120.3 and modding the front panel with perf to increase airflow:

[IMG]http://www.re-located.com/7hj4ts/albums/userpics/10001/P1000923.jpg[IMG]

All painted up black and back in the workshop:

Building up:

There are more images here:

Keeps my Q9450 at 32 degrees idle and 38 degrees load. Gonna add another 9800GX2 to the one already there and put them both in the loop soon

Enjoy - Sq

First time at a Liquid Cooled rig.
Coolermaster with a Thermaltake Big Water 745i internal to the case.

QX9650 CPU, ASUS Striker II NSE, Collermaster 1000W PSU, 8gig Corsair RAM, 2 300gig Raptors and two 8800Ultras fitted with Zalman Waterblocks. All watercooled and built by myself, including the fitting of the waterblocks.

The first time power up of the cooling and board I was ****ting it in case I had a leak, my confidence in watercooling has since improved.
Started overclocking it now too thanks to all the good info on this forum.
Cheers.

So for water cooling you have to drain the water each time you move your computer?

This is an extremely old picture, Hardware changes way to often to keep a copy of all revisions of my desktop

Maybe I will snap some new ones with the 4870X2 for y'all...

This motherboard and cpu is probably 2 generations ago in hardware :/

the rig as of 11/08

The PC:

E8400@4.4ghz

OCZ flex II pc-9200 @ 1174mhz

GA-x48-ds5 with custom DDR2 fan mount and northbridge 92mm fan.

2x4850's one Saphire one Visiontek @ 695/1085 (the cards are identical down to the handmade pen marks on the caps. Both from the same fab?).

Antec 1200 case.

Zalman 700w Silent Pipe main power supply.

The cooling:

Home made Acrylic case stand/water cooling unit.

Antec 400w Smartpower secondary/cooling system power supply.

Three loops (pics coming, presently old pics of 2 loop system):

1) CPU: D-tek V2 WB, home made reservoir, Lang D5 variable speed pump, Fesser 120.3 (in the stand). Listed in order of loop.

2) GPU(s): Koolance VID-485 full card WB's, Swiftech Micro Reservoir, Danger Den CPX Pro pump, Black Ice Stealth X-flow 120.2 Radiator (on the back of case). Listed in order of loop.

3) DDR2: OCZ flexII pc-9200 w/aluminum waterblocks/120.1 thermaltake aluminum automotive radiator/Thermaltake 500lph pump. RAM went from 36-40c with fans on it to 28c max and QUIET! I dissed flexII aluminum a while ago, I eat my words it is worth the cheap rad and pump to run it.
