???? General/classifieds

I have over 100 posts but still can't get access to the classifieds or general discussion area. Do I have to wait 2 weeks or something?

Oh, can I change the text under my name also? I haven't figured out how to do that yet. I am definately not "learning to overclock!" lol

same criteria as the rest... also with custom avatars...

I'm almost at 100 posts myself...I didn't know that you have to wait an additional 2 weeks after reaching 100 posts to have access to the restricted areas...i could understand a day or 2, but 2 weeks?...why the big delay?...isn't there something in place that automatically unlocks those areas for you once you hit the magic 100

oh..ok..thats what i thought...it's not 14 days AFTER you reach 100 posts...it's 100 posts along with 14 days from the time you register...that makes sense, so people won't post 100 messages in 1 day just to get to the magic 100 post mark...the first post in this thread got me confused into thinking that you had to wait an additional 2 weeks after you reached 100 posts to be able to view those "restricted" areas cuz he said he already had 100 posts and still could not view the "Classifieds/General" sections---but now i see the reason for that is because he hasn't been registered for 2 weeks yet

I didn't read or see that because it doesn't have a title like "rules before posting in f/s f/t section and custom sig and avatar.


Instead it has the stupid title of "before you ask noob questions"

Nobody asking this question would probably look there to find the answer!

You are a n00b, in the sense that you are new to the forum. You also have a question. Put two and two together. It makes perfect sense.

Well I didn't consider it a n00b question at all. I am a n00b to this forum but have been @ overclockers club and futuremark for over a year and a half
