Not bad for the rails, but rails arent everything, you get what you pay for!

Your unit has 42amps on the 12v rail and will run anything you can think of including 2 8800gt cards which even OCed will only take 24amps.

Look at the amps and if it is single rail. Your unit is and has 42amps on that rail.

If you are running just one video card, and it is not an 8800, it will only draw 8-10amps.

For most people the Corsair 450W ZX is more than sufficient with 33amps on a single rail.

I think Dell sell the 450W ZX for $70 with a $10MIR.

Question: is the orange wire on sata cables 3.3v. I dont have an AUX connector and am uable to measure the 3.3v on the ATX connector, so im wondering if there is any other way of measuring it. Also if you PC has 4 12v Rails (12v1 CPU1, 12v2 PCI-E2/CPU2, 12v3 M/B Accessory, 12v4 PCI-E1) do you have to measure them all? or is there one in particular. Thanks.

Ahh, thanks.
Another question, is my DMM broken, its registering +6.31v on the 5v chain and slowly rising by 0.01v every few seconds. Asus Probe on the other hand says 4.86v

Additional Comment:

Yep, my DMM must be broken, +12v is at over 16v

Additional Comment:

OK, so i just read it agin, 12v = 18.5v 5v = 8v and 3.3v (just checked the sata cable this time) = 5.75v Im going to change its battery as it says it is low. I know the computer cant be that high else it would have exploded by now.

Talking

well i found a spare battery, and am a little less alarmed now. At virtually Idle 12v = 12.40 (Exactly the same as Asus Probe) 5v = 5.07v (Asus P. says 4.86v) 3.3v = 3.36v (Again the same as Asus Probe).

Good, not good?

Edit: Ive tested the voltage at all 6 stages (I counted running '3D Mark 06' and 'HD Tune Pro' at the same time as under load) and the mave variation was 0.02v on both the 5v and 12v.
