How to bribe in oblivion?

sorry for this thread guys.. i rly dont understand how to bribe ppl in it.. never done it before..dident listen at the start haha.. i think i need to bribe a guard in a quest... any help would be nice thanx.. i tried pressin random buttons.. but he didnt like it hahah

once you talk to the guard, there's the face button in the bottom left, where you can practice your speechcraft. click on that and you will see a wheel where you can influence how someone likes you, and there's also a bribe button. you can bribe but it has its limits.

yeah.. but i dont understand wat to do with the wheel lol.. like if i press random **** he gives me a mean face and doesnt tell me anything haha

the wheel has nothing to do with bribing. the thing is you see 4 segments. move the cursor over each segment and look at the characters face expression to see what he likes or not. big pies mean it influences the character a lot, small pies influence him little. So only click on the big pies if the face is happy, and small pies if the face is angry. Try it a few times and you will get the hang of it.
