Creative to make free its compatability application for Windows Vista

Creative has finally agreed to offer ALchemy free of charge, following the debacle of its lack of 3D audio driver support for the OS.
Creative has told buyers of its ALchemy for Audigy sound software that they'll get their money back following its decision to release the next version of the app free of charge.

In an email sent out to customers yesterday, Creative said the new version of the software will be released on or shortly after 19 May. Unlike previous releases, it won't cost anything. Older versions of the application came with a $10 price tag.

Hmm I think this might help me. I have and audigy SE card, and Vista on my other partition. Games have always been a bit slow on vista and have iffy audio. If this applies to me, and it improves the audio in vista Im a happy bunny.
