Skyrim: How do you kill Maven Black-briar?

I was wondering if there is an eventual quest chain or something that you can get, where you finally get to kill her. Tried killing her in her home but she won't die cause she seems to be an essential like some of the NPC's in oblivion. So I was thinking that maybe you can kill her after a certain quest allows it? Anyone know? She just gets on my nerves so I want to kill her. And all the rest of her family. Haha

She's essential to several quests.

Where does she hang out? She wasn't in there when I went in to steal the horse/documents.

Sometimes the second floor of the Bee and the Barb, and I believe she is somewhere else too (when she is not somewhere quest specific).

Move the cursor over her, open the console and type Kill

Problem solved! Now... Like others have said, that could make other quests impossible.

I'll finish the other quests first that way she's no longer relevant. Then I'll kill!

Doesn't work. She just crawls around on the ground as though she is injured. I mean really kill. As in really kill.

That's because she is "essential". She is quest related.

If you absolutely must killer her...

Well I've done most of the quest chains in the game, now I want to go around and kill people. But for some reason, practically everybody you meet in skyrim is "essential". I liked it better in oblivion where if you killed them, they were just dead. End of quest chain. More like real life that way. You had a few essential people here and there but not nearly as many as in skyrim.

Well yeah after I do all the quests, I like to go around and kill all the people who talked $%!+ to me. Just for fun you know. They're all badguys anyway of course.

I think Maven Blackbriar...

...eventually hires you after joining the Thieves Guild and basically asks you to shut down Honingbrew Meadery.

I simply do not want to see the end of that delicious Honey Mead, so I don't know if it will still mark that NPC as essential or not.

Ever tasted mead? Its disgusting. That's probably the reason its not mass produced anymore. Its basically wine with honey in it. Nasty stuff.

Well, I have many SPOILERS about black-briars family ETC, so, type in white....
So I have to say that I am a little bit disappointed - I did not wanna to do her quests - but I had to. They are evil in Riften and I wanted to kill them all - even the Thieves guild - but no, its not possible. Even I have level 63, I have an evidence about they tried to kill me after I double-cross them in one quest about horse-stealing, I have evidence about that they pull the strings on all the directions - there is no option to be good. And I am sad. Its the same as I cannot join Daedra hunters and just hunt down Daedra lords. So, many quest are bugged and I will never play this game again. But graphics is beautiful, I have to say. If you have questions about Skyrim, just PM me. Played hundreds of hours already.

The game is so bugged I can't even start a new game. The stupid dragon gets stuck flying in the air and just looks at you. It won't complete the cut scene and won't let you advance. I wanted to play again, this time a mage instead of a spellsword but the game is so broken that I can't. To all you who think the bugs are fine.

What bugs? I don't have any bugs. Check if any mods are installed.

Oblivion, however, was very bugged.
